Hello, I'm Emily Duan!

I'm a Mechanical Engineer specializing in soft robotics, smart materials, and sensor technology. I recently earned my Ph.D. from North Carolina State University, where my research focuses on developing soft fluidic actuators, stretchable electronics, and bio-inspired systems for applications in aerospace, defense, and medical technology. I worked in the Intelligent Structures and Systems Research Lab and my PhD adviser was Matthew Bryant.

I'm always excited to explore new collaborations. If you're interested in my work or have questions, feel free to reach out!
